About “Afterglow”
Kulkarni’s new album is a cinematic blend of musical genres including Indian classical, Western classical, contemporary rock, and jazz. The five tracks follow light from “Sunrise” to the “Afterglow” of sunset, drawing upon the themes of nature and the cyclical pattern of life. The album tells a story about setting intentions at the beginning of each day, enduring obstacles, acknowledging conflicting emotions, overcoming grief, and finding light by the day’s end.
